This brand identity is for use at MOD Lyneham and designed to aid Lyneham Media department in producing professional, consistent and student-orientated content on site whilst respecting existing brands and identities.

This guide details all four of the MOD Lyneham brands. For more detail about MOD, Army, REME or Babcock brand please look at the appropriate brand identity or contact the local brand manager.

4 In the next popup window select Programs and Features The menu bar 5 Click on install a program from the network Finding tools in SMART Notebook software The menu bar provides access to many of the same tools and features found on the toolbar, plus some additional tools. Click the menu item you wish to access. Firstly open the SMART Notebook software. The toolbar holds the tools you’ll use most often. It can be broken up into di erent sections related to the function of the tools. Side tabs contain additional tools. You can hide the tab area to increase the working space.

REME Sports’ Association Lifetime Achievement Award Lifetime Achievement Award The REME Sports’ Association was formed in 1948. An Executive Committee and individual sports’ Chairmen provide the Sports’ Association governance; their primary purpose is to promote sporting and recreational activities throughout the Corps. To deliver this objective is a balance of giving financial and administrative advice. Vital to the success of REME sport is careful management of the budgets and regulatory compliance for all REME Corps sports teams. The Sports’ Association is also responsible, with information provided by individual sports’ Chairman, for the recording of sporting achievement and collation of all records and awards. The Sports’ Association Executive Committee awards Corps Colours, an annual Sports Personality of the Year Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award was inaugurated in 2013 to celebrate the achievements of our many sportsmen and women. To launch the award seven historic REME sportsmen from the 1940s to the 1980s were selected from the museum archives. Each individual champion is depicted within the collage backdrop for this award.

To receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, an individual who has served, or is serving, with the Corps will have achieved some special distinction in REME sport over a prolonged period of time. This outstanding contribution may have been through playing, competing, coaching, promoting sport for the benefit of others or most likely elements of all four. They are likely to be coming to the end of their military or sporting career. An individual’s achievement must be so exceptionally outstanding in the opinion of the committee as to merit receiving the award. Examples of such achievements will include significant involvement in REME sport but will likely be supported by international representation for a country of the British Commonwealth or the award of Combined Services or Army Colours in respect of a number of appearances over many seasons, either as a player or a coach.

Nominations, raised by a sport’s Chairman, will be considered annually with the winners being presented at the REME Sports’ Association dinner. A copy of each winner’s certificate will be displayed here for all REME personnel to view in the hope of inspiring future generations of Corps sportsmen and women.
