At the core of the Model 567 is a lightweight, durable aluminum cab thoroughly tested at the PACCAR Technical Center to simulate millions of miles and thousands of jobsites traveled. The cab meets SAE roof crush for rollover standards and is severe-service ready right off the line. The solid construction is complemented by the strong Metton® hood that can withstand impacts that would shatter or crack fi ber- glass. Cab confi gurations are as versatile as the chassis itself. The Model 567 is available in 115” or 121” BBC confi gurations. It can be spec’d as a day cab or with a 44”, 72” or 80” sleeper.

In addition to being one of the quietest in the industry, the spacious 2.1-meter wide cab provides plenty of belly room and space between the seats. Interior materials were carefully selected for both their aesthetic properties and their ability to resist wear and be easily cleaned. The ergonomic operating environment features a fully adjustable steering column, plenty of legroom and conveniently located controls, such as a multi-functional turnstalk, steer- ing wheel and door panel. Sleepers and cabs have ample lighting and storage.

 Electric-over-air controls brings unprecedented levels of reliability, durabil- ity and versatility to the Model 567 when powering auxiliary components and work bodies. The Model 567’s optimized chassis design pro- vides best in class maneuverability, ride quality and serviceability. The angled steering gear of the setback axle confi guration provides enhanced turning angles in both directions with up to nine feet in right hand turning radius improvement versus non-angled gear designs. The ride and handling is superior to previous models with wider cab supports and greater frame rigidity for a quieter, smoother ride. Featuring the most advanced design in Peterbilt’s history, the Model 567 maximizes reliability and ease of ser- viceability with strategic system routings including dedicated routing troughs, air-over-electric technol- ogy and programmable interlocks.

Cab supports are positioned wider on the frame for excellent ride quality and maneuverability.
