El Cabo de Gata, situado en el sureste español, es el litoral que mejor conserva la esencia del Mediterráneo, por eso en los últimos 40 años se ha convertido en el hogar de artistas de diferentes nacionalidades. Aquí tienen su trabajo, realizan sus obras y disfrutan de vivir a orillas de un mar de aguas cristalinas y fondos marinos de gran belleza. De día, el único desierto europeo, muestra su desnudez bajo una luz extraordinaria y cuando oscurece se despierta el duende de la música y el baile flamenco con toda su energía. Este lugar es su inspiración.

Seven artists from different countries and artistic backgrounds tell us why they are so enamoured of this area. The Cabo de Gata, situated in the southwest of Spain, has the coastline which best conserves the essence of the Mediterranean Sea. In the last forty years, it has become the home of artists from all over the world. They work here, dedicate themselves to their art and enjoy living on the shores of a sea of crystaline waters with sea-bottoms of great beauty. During the day, the only desert in Europe shows its bareness under an extraordinary light and when darkness falls, the magic of flamenco awakens with all its energy. This place is its source of inspiration.

Los seguidores del Catarismo habitaban principalmente en la región del Languedoc, pero se extendían desde el Reino de Aragón hasta los Urales, y se distinguían por su creencia en el cristianismo original, el de los pobres. No tenían ejército, ni practicaban sacrificios a animales, y convivían bajo la tolerancia y el respeto por la vida. El Papa Inocencio III les declaró herejes y puso en marcha la cruzada Albigense para acabar con ellos.

Documentary on the historic events that occurred between the 11th and 14th centuries, which led to the extermination of the Cathars. The followers of Catharism mainly dwelt in the Languedoc region, but they spread from the Kingdom of Aragon to the Urals, and were noted for their belief in Christianity as it was in the beginning, that of the poor. They had no army, nor did they practice sacrifices to animals, and lived in tolerance and respect for life. Pope Innocence III declared them heretics and launched the Albigensian crusade to get rid of them.

¿Hasta dónde estarías dispuesto a llegar para alcanzar la fama? Un célebre y juerguista escritor, en busca de inspiración, decide escribir su tercer libro, en directo, a través de internet. Equipado con una cámara de vídeo, permite a su público seguirle las 24 horas al día. Pero el escritor no escribe nada. Aun así, el número de fans no para de crecer, y lo que podría ser una verdadera experiencia artística, se convierte con el paso de los días en el espectáculo de su decadencia. 19º Festival Ibérico de Cinema de Badajoz Madridimagen 2013 Islantilla Cinefórum - Festival Internacional de Cine Bajo la Luna 2013. Un fotógrafo de Badajoz (el inimitable y popular Juan Carlos Vidarte) encuentra en una vieja lata de negativos que perteneció a su padre unas pocas imágenes capaces de situar a Badajoz en la historia del cine español de los años 50. Se trata de las que pueden ser las únicas tomas conocidas de la primera película de temática gay rodada en nuestro país y por un cineasta absolutamente desconocido: Ismael Jara.

A photograph from Badajoz (the inimitable, popular Juan Carlos Vidarte) finds a few photos, in an old tin of negatives that used to belong to his father, photos that set Badajoz in the history of Spanish cinema in the ‘50’s. He finds what may be the only known takes of the first film on the gay thematic to be filmed on our country, and by a completely unknown director: Ismael Jara.

Paralelamente se cuenta la historia de maltrato que Diana y Sebastián sufren. Diana a manos de su novio y Sebastián en su casa a través de la violencia que ejerce su padre sobre su madre. Por medio de las redes sociales se va narrando su triste situación y la salida a la luz de ambos personajes.

Diana is a secondary school girl involved in a love relationship with a boy in her class called Rocky. Sebastian is a companion of theirs, a shy, depressed young man. Alongside this is the story of cruelty suffered by Diana and Sebastian. Diana, at the hands of her boyfriend, and Sebastian, at home, through the violence wreaked by his father on his mother.
