INVITED TEAMS: Hyde School (CT), Hyde School (ME), , Beaver Country Day, Buckingham Browne and Nichols, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall, , Lexington Christian Academy, Marianapolis Prep, , Phillips Andover, Thayer, Williston- Northhampton, Worcester Academy.

SCHEDULE: 7:30–9:00a.m. On-site weigh-in and skin check @ Hyde (documentation for any pre-existing skin conditions required) 9:00-9:30a.m. Head coaches meeting: Review the final brackets and tournament procedures. 10:00 a.m. Wrestling begins on four mats Final round on two mats Place winning matches for 1st, 2nd, 3rd

REGISTRATION & WEIGH-IN FORMS: 1.) The registration form (which will be emailed separately) & the $325 entry fee (payable to “Hyde School”) is due by Wednesday, January 26, 2011. 2.) Each participating school will provide their NWCA weigh-in forms and any supporting documentation on site Saturday morning.

*Please be sure to provide managers and/or other team personnel as table workers. Hyde will have a faculty and students helping, but additional support is appreciated and will help the tournament run smoothly.

ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be under 20 as of 9/1/09, academically eligible, and currently enrolled at the school. Wrestlers must have certified in January. Non-scoring wrestlers listed as a team’s 2nd and 3rd entrants (“JV”) will fill each 16-man bracket on a rotational basis by team where space is available.

SEEDING: Pre-seeding will be done by the Tournament Director and Tournament Coordinator in consultation with Wes Jenkins (Hyde-CT) and Jon Rand (Tilton School), on Wednesday evening, February 2nd. Please be sure to email or call in results from any pertinent Wednesday matches ASAP. Seeding criteria will utilize information provided by coaches on the entry form as well as: 1.) record against each other during current season; 2.) record against common opponents during the current season; 3.) current season record; 4.) most recent Class A and other league rankings. To insure the best possible seeding, be sure to “star” any of your wrestlers that you feel deserve consideration to be seeded.

T-SHIRTS / FOOD: T-shirts: Tournament T-Shirts will be available for sale.

Hyde School will be running a full-compliment of food at the concession and snack bar. Cash only. Hours: 10:00-6:00. (Beverage vending machines are also available.) There will be a hospitality room available for coaches and officials.

AWARDS: - Team: Champion, Runner-up, and Sportsmanship Trophies or Plaques - Individual: 1st, 2nd & 3rd gold, silver and bronze medals for each weight class - Outstanding Wrestler Trophy or Plaque.

TRAINERS & MEDICAL NEEDS: Hyde School’s Certified Athletic Trainer, Colin Foye, and certified assistants will be available throughout the day. In addition, local Fire and Rescue EMT’s will be on call. While Hyde will have appropriate supplies at each mat table, it is your responsibility to come prepared to meet any of your wrestlers’ medical needs, including a face mask, inhalers, ect. and a change of uniform if necessary.

LOCKER ROOMS / TEAM AREAS: Hyde has a limited amount of dressing and showering facilities. Teams are advised to change in the locker rooms, and bring ALL possessions to designated team areas. We are all responsible for security.

PARKING: Please plan to drop off your team and any equipment at the gym, and then follow the directions for parking by the designated attendants.

Hyde School 616 High St. Bath, ME 04530 From the South: From Boston, MA (about a 2 ½ hour drive) Take Interstate 95 North to the Maine Turnpike. (I-95) Take the Exit 52 (Falmouth) from I-95 to I-295 North toward Bath/Brunswick. Take Exit 28 (Brunswick) or Exit 31 (Topsham) to Coastal Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 until you come to Bath. Take Route 209 (Phippsburg) exit (ramp near Exxon Station, last exit before bridge). Take a right onto High Street & proceed 3 blocks. Hyde is on the right.
