On top of finishing coursework and taking exams, your son or daughter will have to make important choices about what they want to do next year. It is also an important time for you as a parent or carer. Your help and support is vital and you need to ensure that you have all the information you need to help them make their decisions. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most students were not able to attend school from the end of March to the end of the summer term. Added to this, at the time of writing, arrangements for GCSE and other examinations in 2021 have not yet been confirmed, although a three week delay to the usual timetable has been announced. This means that our young people find themselves in an uncertain situation – we want to support them through this difficult period as well as possible so that they can progress successfully to their next stage.
