ST.PAUL´S CATHEDRAL It was completed in 1710 ,though the first service was held here in 1697.The current cathedral was built after the Medieval church was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666.

HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT The house of parliament is also Known as the Palace of and there has been a palace on the site since the 11 th century, the first parliamentary meetings taking place two hundred years later.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE first became the official royal residence when Queen Victoria took up residence in 1837.It has 775 rooms and 240 bedrooms. The East Wing, the most familiar side of the building, is actually the back of the palace ; the front overlooks, the largest private garden in London (39 acres , 16 hectares)

NELSON’S COLUMN Nelson defeated the combined french and spanish flut on 21st october 1805 at the battle of Trafalgan. Nelson,killed during the battle , is conmemorated by the column wich is the same height as the main mast of Nelson’s ship,HMS Victory (168 feet or 51 metres).
