Universal Credit national expansion – Tranche two On 9 December 2014 we published a list of the local authorities and jobcentre areas that will be rolling out Universal Credit as part of the first tranche of national expansion.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) can now provide details of planning assumptions for the second tranche of national expansion to local authorities and jobcentre areas.

Universal Credit will roll out to new claims from single people, who would otherwise have been eligible for Jobseeker’s Allowance, including those with existing Housing Benefit and Working Tax Credit claims, in the following areas between May and July 2015.
