In the morning, departure for the city of Albi, a newly declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Built around the original cathedral and episcopal group of buildings the historical city center covers 63 hectares. Among the buildings of the town is the Saint Cecilia cathedral, a masterpiece of Southern Gothic architecture, built between the 13th and 15th centuries characterized by a strong contrast between its austere, defensive exterior and its sumptuous interior decoration. Close to the cathedral, the Palais de la Berbie, formerly the Bishops' Palace of Albi and that now houses the Toulouse- Lautrec Museum, one of the largest international contemporary museums. 1h30 guided visit by an accredited guide in Albi.

The afternoon, departure for Cordes sur Ciel : As you draw near Cordes on the road, you get a glimpse of Cordes high up on its rock, but you will have to use your feet to climb up there. As you ascend, you travel back into medieval times : porches, battlements, sculpted façades and hidden corners. The wealthy traders’ XIIIth century mansions are splendid gothic buildings. The façades of the Grand Ecuyer or of the Grand Veneur take you back then and there. You are back to the middle Ages. The lanes up to the city are bordered with art galleries and craft workshops: artists and craftsmen first came to have a look and they never left. Painters, writers, ceramists, sculptors or jewellers settled in this inspiring place. The house of the Grand Fauconnier hosts the modern and contemporary ,art museum, a successful association of heritage and creation. On misty mornings, Cordes sur ciel truly floats over the sky and deserves its name.

Return at the end of the afternoon.

Cancellation by the Client

In the case of cancellation, the client must inform Trésor Languedoc by recorded post. Any cancellation will result in the client payment of the following:

 More than 45 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost price (deposit) plus service charges and insurance,  Between 30 and 45 days before arrival: 75% of the total cost price plus service charges and insurance,  Between 8 and 29 days before arrival: 85% of the total cost price plus service charges and insurance,  Non arrival on the day the trip commences or less than 8 days before arrival: 100% of the total cost price, The date of the cancellation letter sent via registered post or email will constitute the cancellation period as outlined above.

Any cancellation or shortening of the trip once it has commenced by a customer for whatever reason will constitute a cancellation and will release Trésor Languedoc from any responsibility and will not be eligible for a refund.
