Satellite Phones For our long hike we take our Sathelites phones as most of them are located in remote areas, so we can have a rapid medical response in case of an Emergency. Our Trek Guides have oximeter Oximeter and monitor your condition as You get higher in Elevation, If you need to take a bit of Oxigen our Guides bring also oxygen tanks with them. Besides the tools mentioned above First Air Kit our guides will carry the oxygen tank and a first aid kit full of medicine and other tools needed to be used in the Trek. Our Trek Guides are well trained in First AID and CPR. HIKES FULL DAY 7 RAINBOW MOUNTAIN HIKE Daily Departure DAY 1: Cusco - Rainbow Mountain We will pick you up early from your Cusco hotel around 03:30 am and set out on DURATION ACTIVITIES ACTIVITY LEVEL MAX. ALTITUDE a drive through the Southeast of Cusco Valley. The drive to the trailhead 4,326 m 01 DAY HIKE MODERATE 5,200 m (17,070 ft ) (14,189 ft) is 03 hours long. On the way you arrive to little town and provide the breakfast. Then start off on our hike, following a lovely stream. Literally herds of alpacas and llamas will immediately surprise you. We will have consistent views of the Ausangate Mountain. We will hike through villages about 4 hours round trip.Back on the trail, we encounter more of the traditional elements of this hike. After a total hike of approximately 02 hours, we finally reach our destination, what we came to see, the Rainbow Mountains 5,020 m (16,466 ft). After getting over the shock of their beauty, you will have time to explore the area. You will have time to take pictures and soak in the environment. We will spend approximately 30 minutes at the top.At this point, it is time to go back down. We hike downhill the way we came. The hike will take 02 hours. Our private van will be waiting for us when we return. Para responder a esta pregunta, se analiza el caso del Complejo Arqueol´ogico Ku´elap,el cual se ha hecho m´asatractivo y accesible luego de la construcci´ondel primer sistema de telecabinas del Per´uy de la reconstrucci´ondel aeropuerto de Ja´en.La hip´otesisque se plantea es que dicha inversi´onen infraestructura ha tenido un efecto positivo e importante sobre la demanda tur´ıstica de Ku´elap.Para evaluar la validez de esta hip´otesis,se aplica un estudio de caso comparativo en el cual se utiliza un \control sint´etico" construido a partir de la informaci´onde los diferentes sitios arqueol´ogicos del Per´usimilares a Ku´elap.Este control sint´etico permite estimar cu´alhubiera sido la evoluci´onde las visitas a Ku´elapsi no se hubiera realizado la inversi´onen infraestructura tur´ıstica.

CUSCO – PERÚ SETIEMBRE 2007 1 GOBIERNO REGIONAL CUSCO PROYECTO ESPECIAL REGIONAL PLAN COPESCO INTRODUCCION En la década de 1960, a solicitud del Gobierno Peruano el PNUD envió misiones para la evaluación de las potencialidades del País en materia de desarrollo sustentable, resultado del cual se priorizó el valor turístico del Eje Cusco Puno para iniciar las acciones de un desarrollo sostenido de inversiones. Sobre la base de los informes Técnicos Vrioni y Rish formulados por la UNESCO y BIRF en los años 1965 y 1968 COPESCO dentro de una perspectiva de desarrollo integral implementa inicialmente sus acciones en la zona del Sur Este Peruano sobre el Eje Machupicchu Cusco Puno Desaguadero. Los años que represente el trabajo regional del Plan COPESCO han permitido el desarrollo de esta actividad. Una de las experiencias constituye el Plan de Desarrollo Turístico de la Región Inka 1995-2005, elaborado por el Plan Copesco por encargo del Gobierno Regional, instrumento de gestión que ha permitido el desarrollo de la actividad turística en la última década, su política también estuvo orientado al desarrollo turístico por circuitos turísticos identificados, El Plan Estratégico Nacional de Turismo- PENTUR 2005-2015, considera que el turismo es la segunda actividad generadora de divisas, y su vez es la actividad prioritaria del Gobierno para el periodo 2005. Este Plan Estratégico se circunscribe en las funciones y lineamientos del MINCETUR, Plan Estratégico de Desarrollo Regional Concertado. CUSCO AL 2012, los Planes Estratégicos Provinciales y específicamente en las funciones y objetivos del PER Plan COPESCO, unidad ejecutora del Gobierno Regional Cusco: las que se pueden traducir en la finalidad de ampliar y diversificar la oferta turística en el contexto Regional.
