Adequate bowel preparation is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the procedure for detecting injuries. In this trial the aim was to compare effectiveness of lactitol, mannitol, and polyethylene glycol (PEG) oral solutions for bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy.
