CommunityCOMMUNITY Event EVENT

WHAT IS A “COMMUNITY” EVENT? An event organized by a volunteer, community group, or company is not an official Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation activity and is considered a “community” event. Acting independently, but with the Foundation’s support, community events are essential in helping improve health care for New Brunswickers. THE SAINT JOHN REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION WILL BE PLEASED TO: • Provide a letter of endorsement to authenticate the event • Provide information and templates to help create Sponsorship Proposals, Silent Auction Tools, and obtain appropriate licenses (i.e. gaming, liquor). • Approve the use of our name and logo as appropriate • Promote the event on our website and social media sites • Provide a representative, when possible, to attend and speak at your event • Will discuss and, if appropriate, issue Charitable Tax Receipts per Revenue Agency’s receipting guidelines

THE SAINT JOHN REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS UNABLE TO: • Execute the event on your behalf • Offer funding or reimbursement • Provide access to email/mailing lists • Solicit sponsorship • Provide prizes • Provide access to Hospital or Community VIP’s
