Januar 2014 bei uns ausgewiesenen Nationalpark Schwarzwald. Diese Ausweisung war nur möglich, weil Teile des Nationalparkgebietes schon seit www.seebach.de über 100 Jahren Urwald waren. Das Informations- und Verwaltungszentrum befinden sich am Ruhestein zur Hälfte auf dem Gemeindegebiet der Gemeinde Seebach. Im Jahr 2018 wird ein höchst attraktives Informationszentrum am Ruhestein eröffnet. Aufgrund der idealen Lage von Seebach im Herzen des Schwarzwaldes erreicht man innerhalb von wenigen Minuten die höchsten Berge mit den einmaligen Naturangeboten, wie den Mummelsee oder die Hornisgrinde.
