As Senior Vice President of Global Product Management at Disney Consumer Products Commercialization, Susan McLain leads the Company’s global strategic product management effort across all businesses around the world. She assumed this role in March 2018.

Under McLain’s leadership, the global product management team is redefining the vision of Disney Consumer Products Commercialization, evaluating business opportunities, and developing new concepts that challenge the status quo. A highly- effective, growth-oriented leader, McLain is tasked with driving sound business practices and building a global team focused under a common goal – to deliver dynamic growth to Disney’s consumer products business and the Company.

Susan McLain has more than two decades of experience with The Company. Prior to joining Disney Consumer Products Commercialization, McLain served as senior vice president, product management and distribution strategy for Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution, where she led product management and distribution strategy across all in-home platforms. At Disney/ABC Home Entertainment, McLain oversaw in-home release plans, overall product lifestyle windowing and cross-brand strategies for the Company’s portfolio of theatrical titles and television programming.

McLain also served as vice president and general manager of then Disney-owned The Company from 2007 to 2011, where she oversaw new product launches, global strategy development and execution, retail and consumer communication, and more. McLain joined in 1998 as manager of brand marketing for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

In the community, McLain sits on the board of directors for Delivering Good, a non- profit organization uniting retailers, manufacturers, foundations and individuals in support of people affected by poverty and tragedy. She was also honored as the March of Dimes' ‘Executive Champion’ for both 2010 and 2011.

McLain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from San Diego State University and an advanced advertising studies certificate from Loyola Marymount University. She and her family reside in Los Angeles, CA.

McLain has more than 20 years of experience with The Walt Disney Company. Prior to joining Disney Consumer Products Commercialization, McLain served as senior vice president, product management and distribution strategy for Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution, where she led product management and distribution strategy across all in-home platforms. McLain has held numerous leadership roles throughout the Company, including with The Baby Einstein Company and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. McLain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from San Diego State University and an advanced advertising studies certificate from Loyola Marymount University.
