The Section of International and Comparative Law, which was organized in 1933 under the leadership of the late Dean John H. Wigmore, is divided into four divisions-international law, comparative law, international trade and invest- ment, and international organizations-and fifty-four committees. Committee work affords a challenging opportunity for members to contribute to Section activity and at the same time receive the benefits which flow from such partici- pation.
