Overview

Effective September 30, 2022, IBM(R) will discontinue support of the Solaris and HP-UX operating systems for the IBM WebSphere(R) Application Server family of products, WebSphere eXtreme Scale, and WebSphere Remote Server family of products.

Clients with WebSphere Application Server deployments on either Solaris or HP-UX are encouraged to migrate to Red Hat(R) Enterprise Linux(R).

WebSphere Application Server support for Solaris and HP-UX operating systems was not included in an earlier announcement that extended support for WebSphere Application Server V8.5.5 and WebSphere Application Server V9.0.5 products through 2030.
