1966 CHAPTER 110 An Act to provide for Exemption from Taxation of Certain Property of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp Crystal Lake (Assented to April 7, 1966)

Preamble WHEREAS the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp Crystal Lake has presented a petition praying for an Act of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan to provide for exemption, effective from the first day of January, 1966, of the property hereinafter mentioned from all taxes, rates, levies and assessments; and Whereas it is expedient to grant the prayer of the said petition: Therefore Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Exemption from taxation 1 The real property of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp Crysal Lake being: All that portion of Legal subdivision Eleven (11) lying south of the surveyed road No. 65Y00482 of that portion of the North West Quarter of Section Nineteen (19), in Township Thirty-three (33), in Range Three (3), West of the Second Meridian, in the Province of Saskatchewan, in the Dominion of Canada, lying South and West of a straight line drawn from the North West Corner of the said quarter section, to the South East Corner of the said quarter section, which is not covered by any of the Waters of Lake Number 3 as shown upon a map or plan of Survey of the said Township signed at Ottawa on the 22nd day of May, A.D. 1901 by Eduoard Deville, Surveyor General of Dominion Lands and of record in the Land Titles Office for the Yorkton Land Registration District; together with all buildings erected or to be erected thereon, shall, while owned by the said corporation and used for religious and educational purposes, be exempt from all taxation, except for local improvement taxes, which the Rural Municipality of Keys No. 303 has the power to impose, with effect from the first day of January, A.D. 1966. 1966, c.110, s.1.
