Change in Mass Times – From Friday July 6th until the end of the year Mass will be celebrated on Friday’s at 8pm in Kilnavart.

Annual Financial Statement. The annual parish financial statement is posted on the notice board of each church this weekend. Copies are available in the sacristy for anyone wishing to obtain one.

Visiting the sick and housebound. Fr John will visit the sick and housebound on Tuesday morning from 10am to 11.30am in the Bawnboy area and from 11.30am to 1pm in the Kilnavart area and in the Corlough area on Tuesday afternoon.

Our deepest sympathy to the families of Maureen Kellegher, Currin whose funeral took place in Kilnavart on Friday and Jack Maguire, Aughintra, Derrylin,whose funeral took place in Teemore on Saturday . May they rest in peace.

Blessing of the Graves will take place on Sunday 29th July after Mass in Kilnavart and Bawnboy and later in Port and the Workhouse cemeteries. Blessing of the Graves on St. Mogue’s Island on Monday 6th August at 3pm. Blessing of the Graves in Corlough on Sunday 12th August after 12.30pm Mass.

Registration for the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th August. Anyone wishing to attend the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park must register to get a ticket. Tickets for the Papal Mass are now available free of charge. If you wish to be registered through the parish, please let Fr John or Fr Oliver O Reilly know by tomorrow night. and Corlough Templeport Parishes are organising a free bus for Thursday 23rd August (Diocesan Day) and Sunday 26th August. Cuan Cancer Support Group 2 Keadue Lane, , is open to anyone who has a cancer diagnosis and their family members. Cuan offers a range of services including counselling, complimentary therapies, gentle exercises and other supports. Cuan Drop-in-Service is open Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm. All services are free and confidential. Irish water safety swimming and life saving classes will take place at Brackley lake starting Monday 16 July and will run for two weeks

Clean up our village: Judging of tidy town will be taking place over the next two weeks and we would appreciate if everybody could make a big effort to clean up and tidy around their own property. A big clean up will take place on Wednesday evening 4th July from 7pm until 9pm and we are appealing to as many people as possible to come out and help. As this is the final week a huge effort is required to keep our village looking well and to keep us in the competition. There will be bags and gloves provided. If everybody could bring some items for cleaning up e.g. brushes, shovels, spades or any other equipment that would help with clean up.

Aughakillymaude Mummers Centre: Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 July 30 year celebrations. Saturday 7 at 8pm talk on traditional Lough Erne boat building and exhibition of tools used in the making by Liam Boyle. Saturday 7 at 9pm - Usual monthly music session includes music, song and prose. Sunday 8 at 2pm - begins with mountain road pipe band and traditional music at the school throughout the afternoon. BBQ, bouncy castle, vintage cars and photo display at the school. Boat trips from knockninny on the Inishcruiser. A nice afternoon available for young and old.

Ladies Football Seniors play next round of adult league on Tuesday 3rd July in Bawnboy v Lacken at 8.30pm. There is underage training for girls weekly and you can contact any ladies committee member about training and playing.
