Post-Doctoral Associate, Luso-Brazilian Studies 2010-2011 Department of Romance Studies, • Taught intermediate and upper division undergraduate courses in Portuguese and English including “Introduction to Brazilian Literature,” “Intersections in Brazilian Music and Literature,” and “Latin American Film (1950 – Present).” Co-coordinated the Brazilian Conversation group and designed and developed a Brazilian Documentary Film Festival and Lecture Series.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish 2009-2010 Department of Modern Languages University of Indianapolis • Taught introductory classes in Spanish, business Spanish, and translation, as well as seminars and composition classes that focus on twentieth century literature and film.
