New York City COVID-19 Vaccine Site Locations for Youth
Youth ages 12 to 17 are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

• COVID-19 vaccines are safe and very effective at protecting people from severe COVID-19 illness, hospitalization and death.
• COVID-19 vaccines are free! You do not need to have insurance or share your immigration status to be vaccinated.
• Side effects (such as soreness or swelling on the arm where you got the shot, headache, body aches, tiredness and fever) are common and mean that your body is building up immunity! These side effects start within the first three days after vaccination, and last about one to two days after they begin.
• A parent or legal guardian must provide consent at the time of the vaccination to anyone younger than 18 — either in person, by phone or in writing.
