Bette Davis, Give As Good As They Get in 'Feud'

Get ready for Feud: Bette and Joan, which looks to be a delightfully campy retelling of the feud between Hollywood divas Joan Crawford, played by , and , played by .

Both were two of Hollywood's most famous actresses in the , and by the , "their bitter rivalry was legendary," according to the promo above.Â

The two stars' rivalry grew hot while they were shooting the movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and continued long after the cameras stopped rolling.

Beyond Lange and Sarandon, 's latest production is full of A-listers, including Stanley Stucci as studio magnate Jack Warner, Alfred Molina as , as and Catherine Zeta-Jones as . ' and Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka also star.

FX has been promoting the series heavily in its new X-Men-based drama, Legion, and the campaign includes some real zingers.

The eight-episode debuts on FX on Sunday, March 5, at 10 pm ET/PT.

"Joan Crawford has slept with every male star at MGM, except Lassie," says Davis.

"Divan"

"Miss Davis looks old enough to be my mother," says Crawford, a quote that will take on a life of its own.

"Keep practicing. Could be faster," says Crawford's notably unsympathetic maid.

"Welcome to the house that fear built," says Hedda Hopper, played by Judy Davis, as Bette and Joan wait at the front door of her mansion.

"I'm going to steal this picture right out from under your nose and you know I can do it," Davis tells Crawford.

Bette gives it right back to Sylvia the hapless reporter, and there's a glimpse of Shipka as Davis' daughter, BD.
