Informe del Transporte 2015 Público en Bizkaia 1 Índice Presentación 3 Sintesis General 4 Autobuses 9 Ferrocarril 25 Otros medios de transporte 35 Aparcamientos 43 Títulos comunes 46 Tarifas y uso de billetes 2015 68 Presentación El informe del transporte público de Bizkaia que elabora el Consorcio de Transportes de Bizkaia (CTB), resume la actividad anual de cada operador en términos tales como viajeros, ingresos, títulos vendidos, kilómetros recorridos o tarifas de transporte. A lo largo de este año, el conjunto del sistema de transporte del territorio ha permitido realizar más de 164 millones de viajes. Esto supone un pequeño retroceso del 0,7% sobre los viajes totales contabilizados en el año 2014. La afección de la crisis económica en los hábitos del transporte de pasajeros, sigue siendo un freno en la movilidad general y explica, en parte, este ligero descenso, si bien dicho condicionante no ha afectado de la misma manera a los modos públicos de Bizkaia ya que existen transportes como el Metro, Renfe o Bilbobus que han mejorado sus cifras de usuarios. Cabe destacar que el suburbano bilbaíno sigue siendo el servicio de transporte más utilizado en el territorio con 87,5 millones de viajes al año, y, por consiguiente, ocupa el primer puesto en la C.A.V. Del mismo modo, el 2015 no ha sido una excepción en la creciente aceptación de la tarjeta Barik, ya que, año tras año, sigue ganando cuota de mercado. El 72% de los desplazamientos se realizaron con el soporte electrónico sin contacto que gestiona el CTB. Además de estas, en el informe, existen otras muchas cifras que reflejan el enorme esfuerzo que realizan, tanto instituciones como operadores, quienes junto con el Consorcio de Transportes de Bizkaia, impulsan la materialización de un sistema público de transporte útil y de calidad. El monte Arrontegi, en Barakaldo, ha sido históricamente un emplazamiento clave para el control de la ría del Nervión. Ello explica que se construyeran allí en época medieval las conocidas como Torres de Luchana. A lo largo del siglo XIX jugó un papel importante durante las diferentes guerras carlistas. Reflejo de ello son las trin- cheras que aún se conservan hoy día. Por todo ello se llevó a cabo una intervención arqueológica que permitiera sentar las bases para su estudio desde el punto de vista de la arqueología de los campos de batalla. Aquí se recogen los resultados de dicha intervención. SUMMARY. The mount Arrontegi, in Barakaldo, has historically been a key site for the control of the Nervion river. This explains that known as the towers of Luchana built it there in medieval times. Throughout the 19th century, it played an important role during the various Carlist Wars. Reflection of it are trenches that are still preserved today. Therefore carried out an archaeological intervention that would lay the groundwork for their study from the point of view of battlefield archaeology.

    MAPAS ESTRATEGICOS DE RUIDO DE LA RED FORAL DE CARRETERAS DE BIZKAIA Carretera BI-637 1/5 DIRECTIVA 2002/49/CE - FASE II • Discurre en dirección sur-norte a lo largo de 11 km (PK.7+600 a BI-637 – UME 12 PK. 18+700). • Implica a los municipios de: Erandio (24.294 hab.), Leioa (30.262 hab.), Getxo (80.277 hab.) y Berango (6.748 hab.). • En el municipio de Erandio, únicamente es de destacar el posible efecto sobre una zona de uso residencial unitario situada en la parte inicial de la carretera • A su paso por Leioa (Avanzada), atraviesa el núcleo de población principal, identificándose varios edificios de especial sensibilidad (colegios) y parte de la reserva del suelo residencial del municipio •Con un trazado en el límite de los municipios de Berango y Getxo, la carretera BI-637 presenta una potencial influencia sobre varias zonas de uso residencial consolidado (unitario y colectivo), así como sobre zonas de misma calificación pero sin consolidar. Se pueden destacar varias instalaciones deportivas y colegios situadas en sus proximidades.     The Vision of a Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao

    HARVARD DESIGN SCHOOL THE VISION OF A GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM IN BILBAO In a March 31, 1999 article, the Washington Post? posed the following question: "Can a single building bring a whole city back to life? More precisely, can a single modern building designed for an abandoned shipyard by a laid-back California architect breath new economic and cultural life into a decaying industri- al city in the Spanish rust belt?" Still, the issues addressed by the article illustrate only a small part of the multifaceted Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao. A thorough study of how this building was conceived and made reveals equally significant aspects such as getting the best from the design architect, the master handling of the project by an inexperienced owner, the pivotal role of the executive architect-project man- ager, the dependence on local expertise for construction, the transformation of the architectural profession by information technology, the budgeting and scheduling of an unprecedented project without sufficient information.
