MAPAS ESTRATEGICOS DE RUIDO DE LA RED FORAL DE CARRETERAS DE BIZKAIA Carretera BI-637 1/5 DIRECTIVA 2002/49/CE - FASE II • Discurre en dirección sur-norte a lo largo de 11 km (PK.7+600 a BI-637 – UME 12 PK. 18+700). • Implica a los municipios de: Erandio (24.294 hab.), Leioa (30.262 hab.), Getxo (80.277 hab.) y Berango (6.748 hab.). • En el municipio de Erandio, únicamente es de destacar el posible efecto sobre una zona de uso residencial unitario situada en la parte inicial de la carretera • A su paso por Leioa (Avanzada), atraviesa el núcleo de población principal, identificándose varios edificios de especial sensibilidad (colegios) y parte de la reserva del suelo residencial del municipio •Con un trazado en el límite de los municipios de Berango y Getxo, la carretera BI-637 presenta una potencial influencia sobre varias zonas de uso residencial consolidado (unitario y colectivo), así como sobre zonas de misma calificación pero sin consolidar. Se pueden destacar varias instalaciones deportivas y colegios situadas en sus proximidades. Benzocaine (BZ), butamben (BTN) and isobutamben (BTI) are local anesthetics characterized by a hydrophilic head a and a lipophilic aliphatic tail linked by an aminobenzoate group. Previous rotational work on BZ (H2N-C6H4-COO-Et) showed that its ethyl aliphatic tail may adopt either in-plane (trans) or out of plane (gauche) conformations, with a low interconversion barrier below 50 cm−1.b Here we extend the rotational study to BTN and BTI, isolated in a supersonic jet expansion and vaporized either by heating or UV ps-laser ablation methods. Both molecules share a 14 heavy-atoms skeleton, differing in their butyl (-(CH2)3-CH3) or isobutyl (-CH2-CH(CH3)2) four-carbon tail. We detected a single conformer for BTN and two conformers for BTI. The two molecules do not adopt an all-trans carbon skeleton. Conversely, the β-ethyl carbon in BTN is gauche. For BTI the β-carbon may be either trans or gauche. The microwave spectrum covered the cm- (BTN, BTI, 6-18 GHz) and mm-wave (BTW, 50-75 GHz) frequency ranges.In all the cases, rotational and centrifugal distortion constants as well as the diagonal elements of the 14N nuclear quadrupole coupling tensor were accurate determined and compared to the theoretical results (ab initio and DFT).

Bass Most Recent Addendum: May 2010 FOREWORD The Basques have been a successful minority for centuries, keeping their unique culture, physiology and language alive and distinct longer than any other Western European population. In addition, outside of the Basque homeland, their efforts in the development of the New World were instrumental in helping make the U.S., Mexico, Central and South America what they are today. Most history books, however, have generally referred to these early Basque adventurers either as Spanish or French. Rarely was the term “Basque” used to identify these pioneers. Recently, interested scholars have been much more definitive in their descriptions of the origins of these Argonauts. They have identified Basque fishermen, sailors, explorers, soldiers of fortune, settlers, clergymen, frontiersmen and politicians who were involved in the discovery and development of the Americas from before Columbus’ first voyage through colonization and beyond. This also includes generations of men and women of Basque descent born in these new lands. As examples, we now know that the first map to ever show the Americas was drawn by a Basque and that the first Thanksgiving meal shared in what was to become the United States was actually done so by Basques 25 years before the Pilgrims. We also now recognize that many familiar cities and features in the New World were named by early Basques. These facts and others are shared on the following pages in a chronological review of some, but by no means all, of the involvement and accomplishments of Basques in the exploration, development and settlement of the Americas.

    BIZKAIA AMPLÍA EL PROGRAMA ACTÍVATE + QUE DIFUNDE ACCIONES COTIDIANAS PARA MEJORAR EL PLANETA El Programa Actívate+ impulsa entre la población de Bizkaia la puesta en práctica de pequeñas acciones cotidianas que permiten mejorar la salud ambiental del planeta, además de obtener un beneficio personal. La idea nace de Global Action Plan (GAP), una ONG que pertenece a una red internacional con un objetivo común: reducir el impacto ambiental en las actividades cotidianas a través del cambio de hábitos en el hogar, la oficina y el centro escolar. Auspiciado por Naciones Unidas y acreditada por la UNESCO, está presente en 23 países desde 1990. Las entidades que participan en “Actívate+” se han dado cita esta mañana en el centro escolar Eguzkibegi ikastola para reconocer su trabajo realizado para la mejora de la salud ambiental del planeta. Se trata de una iniciativa promovida por la por la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia para el fomento de la participación ciudadana a favor de la sostenibilidad ambiental, desarrollada en colaboración con el Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia, el Consorcio de Transportes de Bizkaia, el Grupo Eroski el Ente Vasco de la Energía (EVE), la Sociedad Pública Garbiker, Gobierno Vasco y Metro Bilbao. Este programa se enmarca dentro del programa internacional Global Action Plan – Plan de Acción Global (GAP) auspiciado por Naciones Unidas que, siempre desde un enfoque positivo, propone ideas sencillas y acciones prácticas con el objetivo de modificar los hábitos de las personas. Se basa en el concepto de ”empowerment” o empoderamiento, es decir, su desarrollo hace que la persona se sienta con la capacidad de actuar, de cambiar sus hábitos de vida, para conseguir una mejora en el entorno.
