Warehousing Take-up

Weakest take-up for the past ten years Around 89,000 sqm of space larger than 5,000 sqm was taken up in the market for warehousing and logistics space (owner-occupiers and lettings) in the Cologne region* in 2019; this was over 50% below the previous year’s result and below the five-year average. In contrast to previous years, no deals were concluded for units larger than 20,000 sqm and the average size of deals concluded in 2019 was around 9,900 sqm.
