A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols Opening Sentence 2012 Carol: Once in Royal David’s City

Once in royal David’s city – single chorister (Wouter Homans) Stood a lowly cattle shed, where a mother laid her baby in a manger for his bed. Mary was that mother mild, Christ her little child.
