The aims of this research were 1) to study the information of Ban Non Wat community in these aspects: Archaeology; Economics Society; Lifestyles; and Culture; and 2) to develop the model of local learning resources center for pre- historical civilization of Ban Non Wat Tambon Pol Songkram Amphoe Non-Soong Nakhon Ratchasima. The fifteen communities in Tambon Pon Songkram were selected for the population while focusing on Ban Non Wat archaeology historical site. The research teams were composed of the community leaders, the Ban Non Wat local wisdoms, the villagers in those communities, such as : people, students, teachers, monks, the leaders of government sectors, and also the foreigners and Thai researchers. The research tools were the Management Information System (MIS), the observation form, the work-shop recorded form, the opinion form, the in-depth interview, the focus group, the learning camping, the exhibition, the traditional ceremony, and the learning package for evaluation. Both of qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed and synthesized during the process of this study. The results found that: Ban Non Wat community was developed continuously from pre-historical era up to present. The model of learning resources center development with the integration of social, culture, tradition, social fund, and the community economical drive could be developed in the form of learning packages, the displays , and the documents for the local community learning center. The people in those communities could also manage and administer the center by themselves under the development sectors' supports. The purpose of this research is to evaluate of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) for benefits at Omkoi National Forest Reserve asused the data for efficiency decision and management forest resources by sustainable community with forest. Research tools were at collecting data from questionnaires and a comparable data with market price in the area. The samplings were populated in Omkoi sub-district, Omkoi district, Chiangmai province who composed 6 villages. A simple random sampling was 10 percent of the population therefore the value were 95 samples. A collecting data was a specific sampling that used Omkoi National Forest Reserve. Analysis and synthesis research estimated of non-timber forest products (NTFPs).A model of the village economy is developed and the value of the Gross Village Product (GVP) calculated which based on the village economy for explaining the GVP. Valued of NTFPs Results, NTFPs’ plant was 14,214,928 baht/total households, NTFPs’ animal was 22,128,860 baht/total households, and total NTFPs was 36,343,788 baht/total households. The results showed abundance in Omkoi National Forest Reserve because people can get NTFPs all year. The results are distributed to community in abundance in forest which instigate of forest conservation, sustainable with the community, then they had a regulation about the conservation forest for NTFPs next years. The mixed methods, qualitative and quantitative research method and Participatory Action Research (PAR), were used in the study. People participated in the PAR research were (a) four political academics from Ubon Ratchathani University; (b) 22 community leaders, namely; head of the village, assistants to head of the village, heads of the sub-village, municipality members, health volunteers, committees of the disaster preparation community; ( c) related government agencies, namely; the director and teachers of Takonglek school, 6 government officer in Khamnamsab municipality, total 32 persons. Data were obtained by in-depth interview, community context and resources survey, workshop and field study. Quantitative data were analyzed and synchronized qualtitatively by using descriptive statistics. Qualitative data were analyzed by using text analysing, grouping, and returning data for confirming the results. Qualitative data were presented descriptively according to research questions. The research found that according to the flood situation in 2011, water from the Mun river have fluctuated Banchangmor village at 2.31 meters high. 158 households were unable to stay at their houses. They had been evacuated to the flood relief center in Takonglek school from September to October. During their evacuation, the school was still operated. This situation brought the effects of the school's teaching, cleaning, and costing which can be led to the disagreement between Banchangmor villagers and the school. According to the result of capacity building in flood management and flood relief center in Takonglek school by creating the plan for flood management and flood relief center, the community organization, and network for community participation in flood monitoring from Khamnamsab municipality, Takonglek school and related government and private sectors in flood management and flood relief center. The flood management plan has been made in three phase; before the disaster, during the disaster, and after the disaster. This is one of the resiliences to enhance aid effectiveness, reduce risks and effects from flood, and solve the disagreement with Takonglek school and to provide the workshop for the community in order to have their incomes, which can compensate from their pottery occupation during the flood period.
