Ottaviano Cristofoli Trumpet

Born in Udine on 29/8/1986, he starts studying trumpet with Maestro Fabiano Cudiz and in 2004 he graduates from the Conservatory J.Tomadini of Udine under the guidance of Maestro Marco Tampieri. Also in 2004, he joins the “Italian Youth Orchestra” by attending the orchestral courses and special courses of the “Music School of Fiesole” until 2006. For the following two years he studies with D. Simoncini and visits regularly Chicago in order to TRUMPET perfect his training privately with Dale Clavenger, Rex Martin, Tage Larsen and Chris Martin. In the meantime, he manages to collaborate as first trumpet with several MASTERCLASS orchestras, such as the Symphonic Orchestra "La Verdi"

(Milan), the Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice (Genoa) , Cultural Association the Orchestra of the Teatro di San Carlo (Naples), the & School of Music Orchestra of Teatro La Fenice (Venice), the Haydn 00169 Rome - Via Casilina, 1101 Orchestra (Bolzano), the Orchestra of the Accademia OTTAVIANO Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome), the Bremen ph. + 39 06.2389732 Kammerphilharmonie, the Kanazawa Orchestra Ensemble, www.ariadimusica.com etc. From 2006 to 2008, he is part of the "Schleswig- [email protected] Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra" in (SHMF, CRISTOFOLI ). In 2007, he becomes an Associate Member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra and an Associate Facebook pages: Member of the "Miami New World Symphony Orchestra” in Ariadimusica the US. In the same year, he passes an audition for Ariadimusica & Cartoons "Substitute Principal Trumpet" and "Extra trumpet Member" in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. In 2008, he passes an audition for co-principal trumpet of the "Hyogo Performing Art Center Orchestra" (HPAC) of Kobe, in , whose artistic director is Yutaka Sado. In 2009, after several collaborations, he is invited by the artistic committee and by the Orchestra to play as first trumpet in the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Alexander Lazarev. In December 2015, he releases his first cd “Fulgor”, with the

Italian pianist Martina Frezzotti, issued by Nippon Acoustic Records, featuring original Italian music dedicated to him by the composers Giampaolo Testoni, Alessandro Lucchetti, Alberto Cara, Marco Gatto, Claudio Cimpanelli and Federico Biscione. Also in December 2015, he performs in world première the Concerto for trumpet and orchestra “ Suite”, dedicated to him by the composer Gabriele Roberto and commissioned by the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
