Operations:

Australia’s largest theme park owner and operator with parks in Australia and USA. VRL jointly owns and operates 680 cinema screens across 72 sites in Australia, Singapore and USA. Roadshow Films is Australasia’s largest independent film distributor, and Village Group’s film library in the US and China has generated over US$12b at the box office.

Recent Developments:

Successfully opened Wet’n’Wild in December 2013. Construction is underway on a Water and Marine Park on Hainan Island, China, to be operated under a management agreement. The Lego Movie jointly produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Entertainment Group has been an international success.

Finance Director

With over 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Raffe has thoroughly honed her expertise in financial management, mergers and acquisitions, operations, and strategy. She brings her experience and skills to her role as Finance Director of Village Roadshow Limited (VRL), an ASX 200 premier entertainment and media company based in Australia.

VRL operates globally and has revenues in excess of $1 billion. In addition to being a leading film producer and distributor, the company owns and operates a chain of cinemas and several world leading theme parks. Ms. Raffe is tasked with managing all financial aspects of Village Roadshow Limited, as well as overseeing all corporate areas, including investor relations, treasury, human resources, information technology, strategy and risk management. A chartered accountant, Ms. Raffe serves as the Australian National Vice-President with Finance Executives International and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms. Raffe is on the board of not for profit organisation, Entertainment Assist and Director on the Eltham College Board. She was a top 4 finalist in the 2013 Australian Financial Review CFO of the year awards.
