Arianespace - Vol Vega VV17 SEOSAT-Ingenio / TARANIS

Echec de la mission

8 minutes après le décollage de la mission Vega n°17 (VV17), immédiatement après le premier allumage du moteur du quatrième étage Avum, une dégradation de la trajectoire a été constatée, entraînant la perte de la mission.

Les analyses des données de la télémesure sont en cours pour préciser les raisons de cet échec.

Une conférence de presse sera organisée le mardi 17 novembre 2020 depuis Kourou à 10h00 heure locale (14h00 heure de Paris) par conférence téléphonique dont les coordonnées de connexion seront communiquées aux médias.

Mission failure

8 minutes after liftoff of Vega mission VV17, following the first ignition of the engine of the Avum upper stage, a deviation of trajectory was identified, entailing the loss of the mission.

Telemetry data analyses are in progress to determine the cause of this failure.

There will be a press conference Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 at 10:00 am Kourou time/2:00 pm Paris time. The call-in number will be provided to the media.
