Wiggin s imprint, were among the least of the motives that induced u s to seize u pon and devour the contents of t his delectable pamphlet . We confess to a partiality for Popham literature . Its theory so m is original , so free fro conventional trammels , so utterly at r i t diffi» variance with the accepted facts of histo y, that is often ’ cult to persuade on e s self that its advocates intend anything . on fic more than historical waggery So we read , as in other tion , to be amused .
