Tom Frank, my wife (Jean Maiyo Fortna) and I [members of the group in the late 1950s] along with Tom’s wife, Marty, thoroughly enjoyed this extraordinary opportunity to travel with the 2004 Singing Hoosiers tour group. (For us, fond past memories were rekindled: during the summer of l956, I toured with the group on a U.S.O. tour of Japan and Korea; and in 1958, both Jean and I sang with the group on a summer tour of Germany.)
