Presentation If as a speaker you are, for any reason, unable to attend the conference, we Tr avel & Stay would urge that a co-author or appropriate colleague from your company/ university present the paper in your place. Please note that speaker changes are only possible in exceptional cases and have to be reported immediately to the organizer in writing. Presentation Travel & Stay In order that we can ensure that the proceedings are available the beginning of the conference, your manuscript must reach us by this deadline. If your manuscript is not submitted by this date, you are requested to send a copy of your paper to all participants prior to the conference. Furthermore please note that your manuscript will only be published in the proceedings if you have successfully registered as speaker. Instructions If nothing particular has been individually agreed upon with the author, the number of pages is restricted to a maximum of 8 pages. Your manuscript will not be edited or rewritten. With regards to the general outline and graphical style of the proceedings we therefore ask you to use the template for your manuscript, which includes all important writing instructions. The same applies if any company identification is printed automatically throughout the text or if company- /product brochures are used as a "component" in the manuscript. The earlier we receive your manuscript, the more thoroughly Essentials we can review it and be of assistance if anything requires your attention. The session will comprise 2 minutes for introducing the speaker by the chairperson, 18 minutes for the Essentials presentation, and 5 minutes for questions and answers. A document with tips and hints how to prepare a presentation is available for download. Please indicate in your paper (see the template) if you would be happy to make your ppt file available to delegates on request. Alternatively you can send the ppt file to [email protected] after the conference; we will then offer it as a download at www.pcimasia-expo.com Presentation language The official language during the entire conference will be English or bilingual. Please prepare your slides and presentation in English or bilingual (English and Chinese). Meeting with your session chairman Please arrive at the room where your conference session will be held a short while before your session begins in order that you and your session chairman can be introduced to each other. The session chairman will have already been given your short biography and manuscript and will introduce you to the audience.You are required to be present during the entire session. Technical equipment The organizer will provide a projector, laptop and microphones in each conference room. You may bring your presentation file on a memory stick (USB). The conference room technician will be available to help you install your powerpoint presentation on the local computer. We suggest that you make use of the morning, lunch time or coffee breaks to carry out this task. Please do not disturb a running session. Shanghai is China’s most thriving economic center, with GDP per capita climbing to US$20,398 by the end of 2018. Shanghai is a pioneer in China’s reform and opening- up, as well as innovation.
