level and the bachelor - level studies. They are currently being exercised in the research work at the LIIA and RSU. They were trained through the preparation of analytical reports, background materials, negotiation positions and public presentations at the Slovak Embassy and practiced in Civitta Latvia as well as the OSCE. Rational decision-making was obtained while performing in the field of international relations under the time and responsibility constrains. Communication skills Excellent international communication skills are being applied in the daily international communication and public engagement during the research process. They were gained giving presentations, establishing contacts and interacting with interlocutors on behalf of the Embassy, Civitta Latvia and the OSCE. Subsequently, crises are strictly handled in accord with best practices of courtesy and business etiquette. Good oratorical and argumentation skills were trained in the debating movement and during the public relations internships. Organisational skills Organisational and managerial skills are being exercised managing projects at LIIA and RSU. They were trained while supervising projects’ team at Civitta Latvia and while contributing to the development and implementation of such major international projects as Programme of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Latvia.
