5,5 million euros from the European Union, 3 Interreg- projects :

• Building Eucor – The European Campus: Cross-border structures

• Research cluster in sustainability

• Establishment of a trinational graduate academy focusing on risk management (together with the University of Coblence-Landau)

• Expanding into an internationally attractive science and research area without walls nor borders • Attracting the best international professors, PhD students and students

• Preserving the autonomy of the partner universities, while submitting joint funding proposals

• Having joint professorships, joint administrative personnel, joint doctoral candidates and students, joint service departments • Developping joint research projects and dual degree • Removing administrative barriers to facilitate cross-boarder cooperations • Implementing common research infrastructures
