FISHING ACROSS MAINE Forward! Catching the Opportunity to Pay It Forward!
In 2019 Truc Huynh & his charity Trucking Across Maine raised $16,000 to benefit 5 amazing, Maine based organizations and helped share their mission along with stories of Mainers he encountered. In 2020 Trucking Across Maine raised funds to buy masks and PPE's for local hospital, nonprofits, and first responders. In 2021 Truc is "Fishing Across Maine" hoping to catch the opportunity to pay it forward by aiming to help end food insecurity in Maine by supporting Wayside Food Programs.
What is Trucking Across Maine? Our Mission is working to pay it forward by donating back to the communities of Maine and promoting stories of inclusion & diversity using Maine's great outdoors. What are Fishing Across Maine's goals? Raising money to help end food insecurity in Maine. Promoting Maine's natural beauty and outdoors. We will be fishing all four corners of Maine from the mountains to the coast. Sharing stories of Mainers and hoping to break down stereotypes along the way. Why is Truc doing this? Born in Vietnam, Truc immigrated to the United States as a child. He and his family were helped by many in the community, and now Truc wants to pay it forward.
