The River is the longest River that is enrely in and it's the second biggest water source in . The West Branch and East Branch combine in Medway and the main stem flows through Lincoln all the way unl it reaches the sea in Bucksport. The Lincoln area is host to some of the greatest bass fishing in the world on the mighty Penobscot. The main stem of the Penobscot is 109 Miles long. In South Lincoln on route 2 (outer West Broadway) there is a boat launch and picnic area on the river. There is good fishing on the shore, but your best bet would be to take a boat and go near the lile islands in the river. Bass like those areas. A boat ride down the Penobscot is a good chance to see wildlife, maybe even a bald eagle or a moose.

Maanawcook Pond is a big part of why Lincoln's downtown is so special. It's located right in the heart of town. On Lake Street in Prince Thomas Park there is a sandy public beach, basketball courts, a playground and a public boat launch. Maanawcook Junior High and the sports fields are on the shore of Maanawcook Pond. The pond hosts the Redneck Regaa during the Homecoming Loon Fesval and 4 seasons of acvity. It's a great ice fishing spot. The total area of the pond is 832 acres with a mean depth of 9 feet and a maximum depth of 20 feet. Maanawcook offers good small mouth bass, pickerel and white perch fishing along with an occasional trout. All spring and summer you will see people fishing by the dam and behind the gazebo right on the shore. During the spring and summer, you can see loons during the day and hear them calling all night.

Upper Cold Stream Pond (also known as Lile Narrows and Big Narrows) These two lakes are separated by “the Culvert” on the Transalpine Road. The Lile Narrows has a public boat ramp and rumor has it, some prey decent fishing off the dock. Combined, the two have an area of 648 acres. The Big Narrows has a mean depth of 28 feet and a maximum depth of 66 feet. Lile Narrows has a maximum depth of 32 feet. Big Narrows is about twice the size of The Lile Narrows. Both these lakes have great salmon, , lake trout, white and yellow perch, pickerel and chub fishing. These ponds are great for loon watching.

Cold Stream Pond is a deep water, spring fed lake. The boat launch for Cold Stream Pond is on the Old Hatchery Road of Route 188 in Enfield. It has a big parking lot that can hold lots of boat trailers during the summer months. Cold Stream Pond has a total area of 3619 acres. It's mean depth is 20 feet and it has a maximum depth of 104 feet. You can also catch salmon, brook trout, and lake trout, white and yellow perch, and pickerel on Cold Stream Pond. This is definitely a great boang lake. People swim at the lile beach by the boat landing but there is also Morgan's Beach which is actually in Enfield. Morgan's Beach is a very popular summer desnaon. Cold Stream Pond is a great place to see loons.

Stump Pond (Snag Pond) The Public boat launch for Stump Pond (or Snag Pond) is on Frost St. The pond is 202 acres with a mean depth of 7 feet and a maximum depth of 13 feet. It has large and small mouth bass, white and yellow perch and pickerel. Prey decent fishing right on the shore of this pond especially right by the dam. You may even see a loon or two at Stump Pond.

Long Pond, Caribou Pond and Egg Pond These three ponds are connected and usually bundled together as one body of water. Caribou Pond is the biggest of the three and Egg Pond is the smallest. The three ponds combined have a total are of 823 Acres and a mean depth of 16 feet and maximum depth of 46 feet. The best way to get to these ponds is from the public boat launch on the Sweet Road. There's prey good fishing right from the dock. You can catch large and smallmouth bass, white and yellow perch and pickerel in these ponds. On Caribou, you can find beaver dams, and all three of these ponds are home to loons.

Cambolasse Pond You can access this pond through the Sweet Rd. Cambolasse is 211 acres with a mean depth of 15 feet and a maximum depth of 36 feet. This pond has good large and small mouth bass fishing, as well as white and yellow perch and pickerel. Keep a lookout for beaver dams and loons.

Round Pond is a kele hole pond in a scenic seng of spruce and white birch. To get there, take the Weir Pond Road from Rt. 6, then the Lincoln-Topsfield Road. There is a boat landing. The pond consists of 81 acres with a mean depth of 8 feet and a maximum depth of 15 feet. This pond has brook trout and pickerel. You may see a loon or other wildlife at Round Pond.

Crooked Pond one way to access this pond is by boat through Folsom Pond. This pond has a total area of 240 acres with a mean depth of 13 feet and a maximum depth of 30 feet. This pond has smallmouth bass, white perch, pickerel and hornpout and an occasional trout. Crooked Pond is another great pond to spot a loon.

Center Pond can be accessed by Center Pond Drive off of Rt. 6. Center Pond is warm water. It is 202 acres with a mean depth of 7 feet and a maximum depth of 12 feet. This pond has white and yellow perch and pickerel.

Upper Pond is both a cold and warm water pond. It can be accessed by taking Transalpine Rd then turning onto Folsom Pond Road and then taking Pierce Webber Road. The pond area is 730 acres with a maximum depth of 34 feet. Sucker Brook is one of the major tributaries has excellent spawning and nursery area for brook trout. The fish in the pond include brook trout, white and yellow perch and suckers. Upper Pond is also home to loons.

Folsom Pond can be accessed by taking the Transalpine Road and turning le onto Folsom Pond Road. The pond is 385 acres with a mean depth of 7 feet and a maximum depth of 18 feet. This pond has great small and big mouth bass fishing and you can also catch an occasional brook trout. Loons live on Folsom Pond too.

Madagascal Pond has an area of 750 acres and has a maximum depth of 35 feet. This pond has pickerel and white perch in abundance. Access to Madagascal is all private roads though, there are no public boat launches.

Edwards Family Children's Fishing Pond this is located on the Airport Road off of the Access road. This fishing pond is specifically for children ages 15 and under and it's stocked with trout. It has a covered picnic table and it's a really fun place for families to enjoy their day.

Rocky Brook is located at 398 Transalpine Road right at the boom of the hill. This brook is specifically for children ages 15 and under and has amazing brook trout fishing. It's a great place to fish.
