DUBAI HOTEL PERFORMANCE The average hotel occupancy rate for Q1 2015 was a very healthy 87%, which is expected to remain consistent for the rest of the year even with the number of rooms set to increase. By the time of Expo 2020 Dubai, over 164,000 hotel rooms and hotel apartments will be required. In July 2015, Dubai hotels posted increases in supply (4.8%) and demand (32.1%), with occupancy set to soar by 26.1%. Hotels and hotels apartments in Dubai received 4.3 million guests in 2015, an increase of 13% in average hotel occupancy from 2014.
