21st Amendment Brewing Company ★ Monk’s Blood 2012 Vintage, Belgian Strong, Insurrection Series 8.3% ABV Brewed with eight malts, Belgian candy sugar, cinnamon, vanilla bean, dried local black mission figs and aged on oak. Notes of dark candy stone fruit and subdued vanilla aromas with a touch of oak. Food Pairings: Stinky Cheese, Hearty Meat Dishes and Stews, Chocolate Desserts. Sneak Attack, Farmhouse Saison, Winter Seasonal 6.8% ABV Brewed with light Belgian candy sugar and dry hopped with whole green organic cardamom pods. Has an assertive spiciness with a slight herbal note. Food Pairings: Bouillabaisse, sausages, smoked meats and full flavored cheeses. Brew Free or Die IPA, India Pale Ale, Year-round 7.0% ABV Brewed with six different hops with a firm malt backbone giving this beer a three dimensional taste sensation experience. Bright hoppy bouquet with sweet tones. Malt presence off-sets the firm bitterness. Food Pairings: Chili, spicy foods, big meat dishes, steaks and pork chops. Ninkasi Brewing Company ★ Critical Hit 2012 Reserve, Barley Wine, R&D Release 11.7% ABV 15 varieties and almost 400 pounds of hops were used to make this massively hoppy barley wine. Critical Hit does double damage so you might have to roll versus save if you take this ale for granted. Food Pairings: Stinky Cheese, Rye Breads, Hearty Meats and Stews, Curries, Bread Pudding Pravda, Bohemian Pilsner, Prismatic Series 5% ABV Brewed in the traditional bohemian pilsner style, offering a refreshing and well-rounded, medium-bodied lager. Copious Cascade and Centennial hops with Crystal malt. “An IPA built to make you want another sip.” Lagunitas Sucks Brown Shugga Substitute Ale, Seasonal Release 7.6% ABV This beer is a ‘cereal medley’ of barley, rye, wheat, and oats. Full of complexity from the 4 grains, then joyously dry-hopped for that big aroma and resinous flavor.
