Rules and General Conditions: • There is NO entry fee to enter this contest. • Video MUST be a current Christian song o Don't know the name of current Christian artists? Here are some to research online: MercyMe, , , , , , tobyMac, , , DC Talk, , NF Featuring Jeremiah Carlson, Lauren Daigle o Need more choices? Try these Christian radio stations: ° Z88.3 or http://zradio.org/ ° http://www.klove.com/music/ ° Hot 95.9 - #1 for Positive Hip Hop and R&B ° The Rock 103.7 - Orlando's Positive Rock Alternative ° G106.3 - Orlando's Gospel Music o Need a computer, laptop, cell phone, iphone, Kindle, notebook, ipad, etc. to complete the task and you don't own one? ° Groups are allowed - Try to group with a person(s) who has the talent and/or equipment that is needed to complete the task ° Public libraries and city boys/girls clubs usually have computers that can be used ° Your church or youth group may assist you by arranging for you to use needed equipment • Video MUST be between two (2) & two and a half (2-1/2) minutes in length • Video MUST be able to see the LipSync • Video movements/storyline MUST be relevant to the song • Video MUST have NO nudity or vulgar gestures • Video MUST have a G (General) rating/Nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children; or PG (Parental Guidance) rating/May contain some material parents might not like for their young children • Video Entries can be submitted starting noon on noon on Monday, June 15, 2015 through noon on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 (NOTE: See below for web address to submit entry) • Video Entries MUST be submitted online ONLY to the following web address: ______(Need a place for them to upload their documents and their video on the website) • Video Entries entered before June 15, 2015 or after July 1, 2015 will be disqualified. • Limit one (1) video entry per person, per email address, per household - Entries received from any person, email address or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void • Each entry MUST have "Parental Video/Photo Release Form" and "Parental Consent Form" signed by parents and sent in with Lipsync video • QUESTIONS : Email: ______(will open a gmail acct for me & Kristin) or call the church office (321) 631-0183 Mon-Thur 9am-3pm & Fri 9-noon or (321) 626-7119 • The sponsor reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these rules and general conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the sponsor’s control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the sponsor. • By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these rules and general conditions. • The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in the FUMCPSJ website, church's weekly bulletin, church's monthly newsletter and to announce it once in the local area printed publicity material (Happenings, Florida Today, etc.). • Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility The FUMCPSJ LipSync Video Contest (the Contest) is open to the following: a. MUST be a student within the Cocoa, Mims, Port St. John or Titusville School District: Public, Private, Charter or Home School b. MUST be a 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grader for the 2015/16 school year c. Groups are eligible to enter d. MUST be present to accept winnings on 'Award Night' with one (1) parent or guardian

2. Sponsor This contest is sponsored by The First United Methodist Church of Port St. John, located at 1165 Fay Blvd, Port St. John FL 32927.

3. Agreement to Rules and General Conditions Participation in the contest constitutes participants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and General Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

4. Winners will be chosen a. All entries will be screened by three (3) FUMCPSJ media volunteers b. Screened entries will then be forwarded to the judging panel: three (3) students and two (2) adults c. The panel will judge by a rubric d. The Winners will be notified the week of June 29th, 2015 and will be given detailed information on the time, place and date of the 'Award Night'

5. Award Night a. Many suggested for this to be a stand-alone event (not associate this with VBS) b. If this is the case will need a MC (Nic Gilliespie, Josh Santora, Leslie Fletcher?) c. Will need a surprise opening (Thornbloom's neighbor?) d. Will need rousing music (Praise band?) e. Will need an interesting agenda (have best creativity award, best makeup, best???) f. Hand out awards: Sheriff, Mayor of one of the cities, one of the councilmen, KSC Director

6. General Conditions In the event that the operation, security or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law; and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. 7.
