Accompanied by Javier Herrera, the Chad Brown trainee negotiated a half-mile in :48.40 over a fast track. Working on his own after the renovation break, Normandy Invasion posted fractions of :11.80, :23.40 and galloped out five furlongs in 1:01.60.
