INTRODUCTION This issue of Aeronautical Engineering -- A Continuing Bibliography (NASA SP-7037) lists 563 reports, journal articles and other documents originally announced in August 1988 in Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports (STAR) or in International Aerospace Abstracts (IAA). The coverage includes documents on the engineering and theoretical aspects of design, construction, evaluation, testing, operation, and performance of aircraft (including aircraft engines) and associated components, equipment, and systems. It also includes research and development in aerodynamics, aeronautics, and ground support equipment for aeronautical vehicles. Each entry in the bibliography consists of a standard bibliographic citation accompanied in most cases by an abstract. The listing of the entries is arranged by the first nine STAR specific categories and the remaining STAR major categories. This arrangement offers the user the most advantageous breakdown for individual objectives. The citations include the original accession numbers from the respective announcement journals. The IAA items will precede the STAR items within each category Seven indexes -- subject, personal author, corporate source, foreign technology, contract number, report number, and accession number -- are included. Anannual cummulative index will be published. This technical memorandum describes the vehicles and test approach. An overview of the flight test results and compansons with the design predictions are presented. These comparisons are made on a single.discipline basis, so that aerodynamics, structures, flight controls, and propulsion controls are examined one by one The interactions between the disciplines are then exam ned, with the conclusions that the integrahon of the various technologies contributed to total vehicle performance- gains. An assessment ts made of the subscale RPRV approach from the standpoint of research data quality and quanbty, unmanned effects as compared with manned vehicles, complexity, and cost It _s concluded that the RPRV technique, as adopted in this program, resulted m a more complex and costly vehicle than expected but _s reasonable when compared with alternate ways of obtaining comparable results. In Japanese, with abstract in English. refs Reduced-order controllers for active flutter suppression of a two-dimensional airfoil are studied using two design approaches. One is based on the generalized Hessenberg representation (GHR) in the time domain, and the other, called the Nyquist frequency apl:xoximation (NFA), is a method in the frequency domain. In the NFA method, the reduced-order controllers are designed so that the stability mmgin of the Nyquist plot may be increased over a specific frequency range. TO illustrate and to make a comparison • between the two methods, numerical simulations are carried out using a thirteenth-order controlled plant. It is to be noted that the GHR method can yield quoai-optimai controllers in the sense of quadratic performance indices. The designed controllers, however, do not have enough stability margin, and the order reduction resulting from full state controllers

    DANSK TV- JULEKALENDER TIL TIDEN FRA DUKKER TIL DRAMA Abstract The main purpose of this master thesis, “Dansk tv-julekalender til tiden – fra dukker til drama” (Danish TV Christmas Calendars at any Time – from Puppets to Drama) (2018), is to define the Danish TV Christmas calendar as a genre and to set periods for its development from 1962 to 2017. The definition will be based on Rick Altmann’s theory of genre from Film/Genre (1999). Essentially and relationally the genre has been defined semantically, syn- tactically and pragmatically. It is a part of the Danish Christmas, takes a mythical starting point, and contains a supernatural dimension. The genre has a recognisable and repetitive ex- pression, both visually and auditory. The Danish TV Christmas calendar builds on the almanac and on a countdown to Christmas Eve. It is a closed serial containing 24 episodes, one each day, with a plot with multiple story lines, which gradually has become tradition and is charac- terised by the mono myth. Streaming, in the last ten years, has affected this structure. Both DR and TV 2 follow the same tendencies, refer to the shows as Christmas calendars for the entire family, and have an unspoken cooperation regarding airtime and production. DR produces the shows themselves, whereas TV 2, in accordance with its enterprise model, outsources the pro- duction of an idea to a production company. DR’s oldest productions have become cultural heritage. From the beginning TV 2 attracts the highest number of viewers the and dominated the field, but since 2014 both channels have received good reviews and attracted great rat- ings.
