Special Notes about the above pricing:

1. The above projections take into account the current inventory of vehicles we now have in the police department's fleet, (including their current m.ileage and maintenance costs). Projections are based on the following factors: 2. The Crown Vics Price of $37,612.00 and the Ford Explorers price of $37,143 include the price of a new Motorola XLT 8OOmghz Radio purchased, installed and programmed. (Hasty's Communications would need to be contacted for the pricing if eliminated from SPLOST)'

3. The police department's average number of vehicles replaced over the last five years.

16 Ford Crown Vics

4 Chevrolet lm 23 Ford Crown '1 Ford 17 Ford Vics

. Average number of vehicles purchased 16'6

4. The last know accepted price for vehicles purchased was used for the projections. 5. Projections for the initial years, (FY 11112 and FY 12113) for the year models we currently have, and the real mileage of the existing vehicles we now have will definitely meet the replacement guidelines set forth in the vehicle matrix. 6. 2007 was the last year the Detectives received replacement vehicles. However, in February 2010, a Ford Fusion was totaled and it was replaced with insurance settlement money with a 2008 Ford Fusion with 13,266 existing miles. 7. The projection is a minimum replacement for each fiscal year. There are other factors such as high maintenance costs, downed vehicles because of vehicle accidents, and possible increases of the fleet if additional personnel are approved in future years that would affect the number being purchased.

NOTE: The projection does not take into account for an expected increase in the cost of the vehicles base purchase price with equipment.
