from Company The main purpose of establishing OJSC Atom- energomash was to de-monopolize the market and to develop globally competitive technology management solutions for the power industry. As competition has evolved, prices for nuclear equipment have declined in recent years, which enabled State Corporation to save more than 22 billion rubles in 2007-2011.

From this standpoint, 2012 was a turning point: from the time the Volgodonsk branch of CJSC AEM Technologies was established, Atom- energomash became an integrated supplier of key equipment for both nuclear and turbine islands as it set up a complete production chain to manufac- ture equipment for nuclear power plants.
