The above reaction deals with the case of Marbury Vs Madison, where elected William Marbury as a judge in the final seconds of this Presidency. President saw the appointment (paperwork) and asked his secretary () to not deliver the appointment. Marbury sued to get his paperwork, but it was not delivered and it went to the supreme court… Adams (federalist) and Jefferson (Demo-Republican) WERE OPPOSITES AND WANTED TO SUPPORT THEIR PARTY! THIS CASE EXPANDED THE POWER OF THE COURTS w/ Judicial Review and also expanded its role= GOVERNMENT BEGAN GROWING

Since its inception in 1787 the different branches of government have gotten bigger, bigger, and BIGGER!
