Council met in regular session on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m., at the Soldiers Memorial Hall,

Mayor Janet Gutowski calledthe meeting to order and asked if there were any declarations of pecuniary interest, Councillor Phillip Smith declareda pecuniary interest with section 1 of the closed session items.

Mike RichardsonPublic Works Manager updatedcouncil on the current issueswiththe roads ‘pertaining to washouts due to the high water levels. Mike then introduced Dave Hicks who will answer any questionscouncilmay have regarding the Four Wheel Drive Front End Loader.

MikeRichardsonadvisedCouncilthatthe tenderfor HendersonRoad is out along with the tender for Wagarville Road, and a RFP for Wagner Road is going out May 15'and a report will be coming forth at the respective council meeting.

‘Mikealso spoke on the Ontario One Call and informed council that we have less than 400 calls a year and therefore there will be no charge for this service.

That Council approve Toromont Cat as the successful bidder on the supply of a Four WheelDrive Front End Loader and authorizestaff to issue a purchase order in the total amount of$1S7,850.00 plus HST.

ADMINISTRATION

Larry Donaldson brought forward the procedural by-law and is recommending the passing of a new by-law instead of making a number of amendments to the existing one. Council brought forward their comments and suggested changes. Larry will make the changes and bring back to the next meeting.

Larry Donaldson read the letter sent by Mrs. Sharon Snyder in which she would fund a portion of the fence at the Piccadilly Cemetery in memory of the late William P. Snyder. It was suggested that the request be received and be referred to staff to investigate further.

John Purdon presented enhancements of the trail that the Multi Use Cultural Committee are applying for in their grant application to the County of Frontenac-Federal Gas Tax Funds Program.
