CARRIED BUILDING Resolution#142-2014 Moved by Jeff Matson Seconded by Phillip Smith That the Construction Details Report dated April 8, 2014, he received for information. CARRIED PUBLIC WORKS Mike RichardsonPublic Works Manager updatedcouncil on the current issueswiththe roads ‘pertaining to washouts due to the high water levels. Mike then introduced Dave Hicks who will answer any questionscouncilmay have regarding the Four Wheel Drive Front End Loader. MikeRichardsonadvisedCouncilthatthe tenderfor HendersonRoad is out along with the tender for Wagarville Road, and a RFP for Wagner Road is going out May 15'and a report will be coming forth at the respective council meeting. ‘Mikealso spoke on the Ontario One Call and informed council that we have less than 400 calls a year and therefore there will be no charge for this service. CARRIED Resolution#145-2014 Moved by Jeff Matson Seconded by Phillip Smith That Council approve Toromont Cat as the successful bidder on the supply of a Four WheelDrive Front End Loader and authorizestaff to issue a purchase order in the total amount of$1S7,850.00 plus HST. CARRIED ADMINISTRATION Larry Donaldson brought forward the procedural by-law and is recommending the passing of a new by-law instead of making a number of amendments to the existing one. Council brought forward their comments and suggested changes. Larry will make the changes and bring back to the next meeting. Procedure By-law, a copy of which forms Attachment #1 to this report and provide any direction it wishes; and, That the draft Procedure By-law, be listed for adoption at the next regular Council meeting on April 29, 2014; and, That public notice be given of Council’s intention to pass the new Procedure By-law at its meeting ofApril 29, 2014. CARRIED COMMUNICATIONS Resolution#148-2014 Moved by Phillip Smith Seconded by Jeff Matson That Council receive the letter of support from the Town of Penetariguishene and that staff, be directed to send a letter of support to the Ministry of Education regarding a review of Funding for Small Town Ontario Schools. CARRIED Resolution #149-2014 Moved by John Purdon Seconded by Nonnand Guntensperger That Council received the correspondence infonnation. CARRIED Larry Donaldson read the letter sent by Mrs. Sharon Snyder in which she would fund a portion of the fence at the Piccadilly Cemetery in memory of the late William P. Snyder. It was suggested that the request be received and be referred to staff to investigate further. OTHER REPORTS/MINUTES John Purdon presented enhancements of the trail that the Multi Use Cultural Committee are applying for in their grant application to the County of Frontenac-Federal Gas Tax Funds Program.
