SAKARI MANNINEN SAKARI HOME CARE FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN Home Care for Families with Children If your family needs help in facing everyday challenging situations, do not hesitate to contact Home Care for Families with Children. The need for help may arise from, for instance, a family situation, birth of a child, exhaustion, illness, disability, or another reason. Home Care’s practical nurses and home aids will help you in: • home care and child care, • upbringing, • supporting parenting, and • managing everyday routines and changing life situations. If you need mere cleaning help, you should contact businesses in the field. Home Care aims to help you find life management, your own resources and means to cope in everyday life. Our work focuses on preventing problems. With your permission, we will cooperate with, for instance, a counseling bureau, day care and social work, when required. Home Care is a temporary and well-planned service. The service lasts for about 1-3 months; we will assess the need for further care together with you, when required. How can I order the service? You can contact our home-care teams. You can also order the service in cooperation with a counseling bureau or a family worker. We will consider the need for care together with you before and during the work. Home-care fees The home-care service is charged either per visit or monthly. Fee per visit The fee per visit depends on the duration of the visit: Maximum duration of visit Fee 0–1 hours €9,50 1–2 hours €11,80 2–3 hours €14,10 3–4 hours €16,40 4–5 hours €18,70 5–6 hours €21,00 more than 6 hours €25,60 The fee is not charged if the family income falls below the income limits set by the city. Monthly fee A monthly fee will be charged for continuous and regular home care. The service is deemed to be continuous and regular if it is used once a week or more often. The monthly fee depends on the amount of home care, family size, income limit, and family’s combined gross income. Example Your family has 4 members and you use home care 6-11 hours per month. Your combined gross income amounts to €4 000 per month. The number of euros compliant with the income limit will be deducted from your monthly income, in this case €4 000 - €2 050 = €1 950. Seven percent is calculated of €1 950, which amounts to €136.50. Thus, your home-care fee is €136.50 per month. Check your payment percentage from the table The payment percentage shows the maximum monthly fee for you. As regards monthly income exceeding the income limit, the payment is calculated according to the attached table: Number Income of Service time/month limit people €/month 1-5 h/mo. 6-11 h/mo. 12-20 h/mo. 21-30 h/mo. 31-44 h/mo. 45- h/mo. % % % % % % 1 10 15 20 25 30 35 573 2 7 10 13 16 19 22 1057 3 6 8 10 13 15 18 1657 4 5 7 9 11 13 15 2050 5 4 6 7 9 11 13 2481 6 3 5 6 8 9 11 2849 Payment percentage of monthly income exceeding the income limit.
