PAINTING THE SKIES PINK Sharjah based company LGO International is looking to paint the skies pink with the world’s fi rst women only airline. With the base set to be at Al Bateen Airport, the only executive business airport in the MENA region, the company are on course to make history making every aspect of the airline female dominated. From the interior design, to the pilots, to the passengers - only women are being employed to work on the new concept. Th e company was established late in 2015 with the aim of advising female clients on how to best manage, lease or acquire aircraft for their specifi c needs, but now have decided to go one step further and put their own aircraft into operation. 7 AIR ARABIA EXPANDS EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS Starting on March 18th 2016, Air Arabia the largest low cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced plans to add another European destination to its route network. Th e airline announced that before the fi rst quarter of 2016 is complete, regular fl ights will commence between Sharjah International Airport and the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. Sarajevo is a vibrant and up-and-coming city that despite it’s turbulent past is a fantastic historical destination that has infl uences from the Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, Ottoman, and Austro-Hungarian empires, and is a popular tourism destination throughout the year. Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, said: "Following 12 months of signifi cant expansion, Air Arabia is delighted to begin 2016 with the launch of a new European service. Karen Walker, Air Transport World Editor-in-Chief, said, "Etihad Airways is clearly an airline apart from the pack and one that sets its own course. It is a pleasure to celebrate the achievements of the Etihad Airways team at the 2016 ATW Airline Achievement Awards in Singapore. Etihad is highly deserving of our top award, Airline of the Year. The website, available in English, Arabic and Russian, has been redesigned to off er a fresh look, feel and has many new features. When visiting fl ydubai.com, customers are now off ered a more personalized online experience by receiving customized content based on their location and previous interaction with the site and a layout that automatically adjusts depending on the device being used.
