We are encouraging participants who currently have scheduled appointments to not come into the office, but stay at home and wait for someone to call them with further instructions on how we will be able to help them obtain benefits. New applicants, and those who need to schedule an appointment, should not walk in, but call us and we will call them back. New applicants can also apply online at www.mass.gov/WIC. HAVERHILL PANTRIES

All Saints: 120 Bellevue Ave, Haverhill continues to be open on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month from 10am to 12:00noon. Closed on Tuesdays until further notice. They are set up in our parking lot, asking everyone to keep a safe distance from each other, and distributing prepackaged of groceries to each participant.

Liz Murphy Open Hand Pantry: Temporarily closed until May 5th. After much discussion and in an attempt to keep our volunteers safe we have decided to temporarily close the Pantry. We will open May 5 at our regular time 4:00 – 7:00

Open Heart Ministries– 217 Main Street Haverhil MA Distributing hot meals in to-go containers on Sundays from 2-3pm. Distribution is at the door in the back of First Baptist Church.

Sacred Hearts - 6 Carleton Avenue, Bradford, MA is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Participants are asked to wait outside using social distancing in line while they wait to check in at the usual door facing the parking lot. Prepackaged bags of may then be picked up at the next door. We are accepting new participants. Our Pastoral Center phone lines are open for calls and spiritual support 978-373-1281

Salvation Army - For residents of Haverhill, Bradford, Groveland and Merrimac -the pantry and feeding program hours and days are as usual, please come to the door and SA will distribute a lunch on the days they serve lunch or a of food on the days the food pantry is open. Meals: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 12 noon. Food pantry: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 -11:00 AM. They’re not planning on closing programs unless a directive comes down from the government. SEACOAST

PETTENGILL HOUSE, INC. FOOD PANTRY OPERATIONS UPDATE:

Our food pantry at 13 Lafayette Road in Salisbury will operate during its regular hours on Tuesday, March 17th (9:00-2:00 & 4:00-6:00) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY until further notice. If you are in need of food please call (978) 463-8801 to make an appointment. For the safety of all involved, we are prohibiting entry into the food pantry, and will instead be fulfilling food orders using a “curbside” method of pickup and distribution. Instead of coming inside, please park in the driveway and wait in your car or if walking please wait at the front entrance where you will be greeted and checked-in by staff or volunteers. We will fill bags and bring food and supplies out to you.

If a person arrives and does not have an appointment and or is new to our agency they will be assigned an appointment time.

We are also adding an extra day of pantry services JUST FOR SENIORS (age 60+) on Wednesdays, 9:00-1:00 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Senior clients, please call (978) 463-8801 to make an appointment.

The Markets will be closed to shoppers. Guests can pre-order groceries online and schedule the time to pick-up. If you cannot order online, please call 978-388-1907 to place your order. Groceries will be delivered directly to your car during your scheduled pick-up time. St. Paul's Church, 166 High Street, Newburyport - Beginning on Monday, March 16 and until further notice, our meals program, Among Friends, will provide meals to go only. We invite anyone to come in at our regular serving times to get a to take home.

Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green Street, Newburyport - beginning Tuesday, March 17, and until further notice, our meals program "Breaking Bread" will provide meals to go only . Please come at our regular meal time, 5:00 o'clock, to get a meal to take home.

Community Action, Inc, 44 Friend Street, Amesbury - The food pantry is providing curbside pickup at the handicapped/side entrance of the building. You must call to schedule food pickup, (978) 388-2570. The Amesbury food pantry serves residents of Amesbury, Merrimac, Salisbury, Newburyport, Newbury and West Newbury and is open Monday 9:00-3:00 Tuesday 9:00-3:00 Thursday 1:00-6:00 For other assistance, please call and leave a messages for return calls, as possible. The Clothing Bank is closed until further notice.

First Parish Church Newbury Community Food Pantry, 20 High Road, Newbury 978-465-5597 Operation During this time of Social Distancing Pantry will operate regular hours as a “drive-through.” Pre-bagged food offering some but limited choice and including fresh, frozen and canned items will be carried to your car. Those who cannot drive to the pantry will, upon request, have the bags delivered. SEACOAST Public School Meals

NEWBURYPORT Nock Middle School, 70 Low Street, It will be announced later today but the Newburyport public schools will begin serving lunch and a breakfast (brown bag take out) from 10-2 starting Wed. SALISBURY Elementary School, 100 Lafayette Rd (for Salisbury, Newbury & Rowley families) Breakfast and lunch 8-9 AM Monday - Wednesday - Friday. Meals are also being distributed via bus routes in Salisbury. The Boys and Girls Club is also coordinating delivery to Newbury and Rowley families. GLOUCESTER

The Open Door: To keep our community safe, our food pantries and meal programs will move to curbside pick-up delivery models on Wednesday, March 18 until further notice.

Groceries: Prepackaged food will be available for pick up: At Gloucester food pantry, 28 Emerson Avenue, Monday through Friday from 10a through 5pm At Ipswich Community Food Pantry will have regular hours the week of March 16, and move to curbside pickup the week of March 23.

If you work, and are unable to pick up groceries during this time, email [email protected] to arrange a food delivery by a volunteer.

Meals: All meal programs will move to takeout curbside pick up from 4-5p Monday through Friday. The Friday meal distribution will include meals for the entire weekend. There will be no meal at St. John’s on Tuesday or Trinity Congregational on Friday until further notice.

Gloucester Public School Meals

The Ipswich schools’ food service department will provide breakfast and lunch in “grab and go” bags for any students who need them from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on weekdays until April 7th, the School Department said on its website. Deliveries will be made to the following locations: Agawam Village, the Winthrop School and Rosewood Drive.

NATIONAL GRID Is temporarily suspending collections-related activities, including service disconnections, to lessen any financial hardship the COVID-19 pandemic may cause customers. These policies are effective immediately and will be in place through the end of April. Please note that regular billing will continue for all customers. COLUMBIA GAS will suspend shutoffs for nonpayment in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, effectively immediately. This suspension will apply to residential, commercial and industrial customers and will remain in effect until further notice. In addition, Columbia Gas will offer its most flexible payment plans to customers who indicate either an impact or hardship as a result of COVID-19 and will suspend late payment charges until May 1. Columbia Gas will continue to monitor current events and support our customers and communities.

Pentucket Medical -routine/ well visits are getting cancel. -Patients with current cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat or runny nose are asked not to go in to reduce the potential spread. Families are asked to please call the office, before going for the clinicians to find alternative ways to help.
