2 FROSTBURG STATE UNIVERSITY | CES 2019.2020 An outstanding cross-over artist, Thomas Pandolfi’s virtuoso transcriptions of the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Bernstein, Marvin Hamlisch, Burt Bacharach and Barry Manilow are in much demand. In 2006, he released his first CD, and since then has recorded ten additional ones, including “Language of Infinity” (Chopin), “Gypsy Passages” (Liszt), “Into the Night with Gershwin,” and the Paderewski Piano Concerto recorded in the Czech Republic with The Moravian Philharmonic.

Thomas enjoys working with new composers, and he has in particular championed the “Pops” Concerti of British composer, Simon Proctor, including The James Bond Concerto, in which Thomas gave the world premier performance in London during the 2010-11 season. He is scheduled to perform the world premier of Bohemian Concerto by British-Argentine composer, Polo Piatti, during the 2019-20 Season. Thomas co-commissioned film and concert composers Kim Allen Kluge and Kathryn Vassar Kluge to compose The American Piano Concerto, which was an absolutely smashing success at its world premiere in May, 2016; a recording of this work is scheduled to be released soon.

A graduate of The Juilliard School, Thomas earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as a scholarship student. At the moment, he is based in the Washington, D.C. area, and is the proud father of a wonderful son and daughter.

Two million spectators and 1,534 representations later, he had had enough. He missed his home and his friends. Soon after, FLIP Fabrique was born. Now on tour with his friends, it always feels like home…

Ben Nesrallah – Musician Performer, writer, arranger, recording artist, and teacher, Ben Nesrallah is a musical jack-of-all-trades, an under-cover classical pianist and he quickly establishing himself as one of his generations most promising musical talents. From 2016 to 2018, Ben toured as a multi-instrumentalist and singer in Cirque Éloize’s Saloon. With 5 albums under his belt, and a wealth of touring experience, Ben is very excited to have joined the FLIP Fabrique family.

Camila Comin – High flyer / Acrobat Camila Comin started doing gymnastics at 5 years of age. When she was 8 years old she won her first gold medal and from that came national and international championships and two Olympic Games Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. After 18 years of career in 2007, she made the transition from athlete to artist when, at the age of 23, she joined Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo. Camila is an attentive and innovative artist. She is proud to be part of FLIP Fabrique, where she is always in search of perfection, without fear of surpassing limits.

Jérémy St-Jean – Carrier / Acrobat Raised in Quebec city since the age of 5, Jérémy St-Jean Picard has always been eager to uncover his many passions. That is why, at a considerably young age, he discovered a love for theatre, dance and most notably, circus. During his formative years at the École de cirque de Québec he familiarized himself in a wide range of circus disciplines, all the while refining his skills as a base porter. After 5 years of globe trotting for different companies such as Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize, Jérémy continues to evolve as a multidisciplinary artist to this day.

Hugo Ouellet-Côté – Straps / Acrobat As a child, his flips and jumps always needed to be higher and higher… His quest led him to study in two different circus schools in Quebec and perform for the Cirque Eloize. Hugo Ouellet-Côté traveled the world to follow his passion and perfect his trade. Never really questioning the path he was on, since everything came to him easily and naturally… he simply followed the flow and took off! Come and discover him in FLIP Fabrique.

10 FROSTBURG STATE UNIVERSITY | CES 2019.2020 Justine Méthé-Crozat – Voice / High flyer At the age of 8, Justine Méthé-Crozat discovered her passion for circus in Quebec City. Small and dynamic, she specializes as a flutter at ENC where she graduated in 2007. Since then, this globetrotter at heart has performed more than 1750 times in more than 25 countries with companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize and les 7 doigts de la main, as well as in Germany’s big cabarets like Palazzo, GOP and Chamäleon with FLIP Fabrique, where she can keep pushing her artistic desires and where she takes up new challenges.

William Jutras – High flyer / Acrobat From a young age, William Jutras develops a passion for acrobatics and specializes in tumbling (acrobatic gymnastics on the ground). His sports career led him to participate in national competitions where he won several prizes. Having a strong fondness for the arts, William decides to mix his two passions to make it a career. In 2009, he joined the professional circus arts training at the École de cirque de Québec where he specialized in Icarian games and Chinese pole. It is also where he discovered lifts and the handling of hula hoop.

Samuel Ramos – Russian Cradle Samuel Ramos discovered circus and circus life during his studies at the École de cirque de Québec. His passion and talent took him worldwide right after graduating. He performed hundreds of times throughout the united states. He worked with prestigious compagnies such as Cirque Eloize. Now with FLIP Fabrique Samuel continue to push the limits of his specialty, the Russian cradle. Truly passionate by the discipline Samuel wishes to share his art with the public as much as possible.

Jack McGarr – Carrier / Acrobat (since 2020) From a young age, Jack was scaring everyone by leaping off of anything he could climb up. To focus his energy, he started men’s artistic gymnastics at age 6, but quickly moved to power tumbling, then sports acro. After years of competitions’ life, Jack heard the call of the stage and, inspired by circus shows he had seen as a child, went on to attend Montreal’s National Circus School. Jack keeps developing his many skills all the while exploring life’s motion and how it relates to circus. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he is proficient in bass guitar, guitar and drums.

The presentation of Russian National Ballet is sponsored by Dr. Julianne K. Ferris and Mr. Daniel F. McMullen. The company, then titled the Soviet National Ballet, was founded by and incorporated graduates from the great Russian choreographic schools of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Perm. The principal dancers of the company came from the upper ranks of the great ballet companies and academies of Russia, and the companies of Riga, Kiev and even Warsaw. Today, the Russian National Ballet Theatre is its own institution, with over 50 dancers of singular instruction and vast experience, many of whom have been with the company since its inception.

In 1994, the legendary Bolshoi principal dancer Elena Radchenko was selected by Presidential decree to assume the first permanent artistic directorship of the company. Ms. Radchenko is the founder of the Russian National Ballet Theatre, and she has focused the Company on upholding the grand national tradition of the major Russian ballet works and developing new talents throughout Russia, with a repertory of virtually all of the great full works of Petipa: Don Quixote, La Bayadere, The Sleeping Beauty, The Russian National Ballet Theatre was founded in , , , Coppelia and Moscow during the transitional period of Perestroika , as well as productions of, among others, in the late 1980s, when many of the great dancers , Sylvia, and La Fille Mal Gardee. and choreographers of the Soviet Union’s ballet institutions were exercising their new-found creative freedom by starting new, vibrant companies dedicated not only to the timeless tradition of classical Russian Ballet but to invigorate this tradition as the Russians began to accept new developments in the dance from around the world.

On a market-place Don Quixote and Sancho INTERMISSION Panza mingle in the colorful bustle of the people. Kitri, daughter of the innkeeper Lorenzo, and her sweetheart the barber Basilio are among them. Their Act III lovers’ tryst is suddenly disturbed by the entry of Kitri’s Scene 3: A Tavern father.
