At the “Start” Screen, just start typing to search for something.

Default search: “Everywhere,” including file folders and internet. Here I searched for “Bridge,” so the program is ready to open.

Windows found “Bridge” and opened the program on my Desktop.

To CUSTOMIZE a Tile, You can drag and drop a tile right-click to reposition it. or press the tile until menu appears.

Tiles for Mail, News, etc. can be “Live”.

Getting to the Apps List

On a touchscreen, swipe up from the bottom.

Using a mouse? Point to bottom left of the screen then click on the “Down arrow” icon.

Changing the Sorting

Moving the Tile from its initial right-edge position

Quick Access Menu Win + X or Long Press on “Start” icon at Windows Desktop.

To access Settings, press Win + I or open the “Charms” and pick “Settings.” “Charms”

Press Win+C or Swipe in from right to left Settings are Context-Sensitive From Desktop: Charms | Settings “Control Panel” Familiar Windows 7 style. Charms | Settings |Change PC settings File Management: OneDrive (formerly “SkyDrive”) for both cloud storage and local files (“This PC”) showing OneDrive files and “This PC” files for Keith File History saves multiple versions of important files but requires external media (disk, USB, SD card, etc.)

At Windows Desktop, search for File History. Then click on Result.
